Our Story
Together with our family, Andy and Jane Gibbs are proud to welcome you to Bowden Lodge. What began as a Victorian family home has grown into a guest house that balances tradition, character and the comforts travellers expect today.
We live and work here which means every detail, from the way your room is prepared to the breakfast you enjoy, is cared for by us personally. We do not see our visitors as customers. We see them as guests who are stepping into our home.

Bowden Lodge offers more than a place to rest. Our private function room gives families and groups the chance to gather in a space of their own. It is well suited for small wedding receptions, family reunions, funeral wakes or meetings.
